The report builder at Reporting → Reports (/app/reports) answers "how did X perform, broken down by Y" for clicks,
impressions and conversions. The same builder runs in the partner and advertiser portals with their own limits.
Every view is in the URL, so you can bookmark or share it.
Anatomy of the builder#
Results show a trend chart, the table with a totals row, pagination (50, 100, 250 or 500 rows per page) and sortable columns.
Build a view step by step#
- Pick the date range in the top bar.
- Click Group by and search for a dimension (for example Offer). Add more with Add. Drag chips to reorder them, or use Alt + ← / →. Remove one with its ×.
- Click the filter control ("Filter by…"), choose a dimension, choose is or is not and select values. Entity dimensions (offer, affiliate…) can be searched by name, code or ID.
- Open Metrics and tick the columns you need. Network defaults: Clicks, Unique clicks, Conversions, CVR, Revenue, Payout, Profit and EPC.
- Optionally add Metric filter rows (needs at least one group-by).
- Sort by clicking a column header.
Drill down#
Click a value in a dimension column to drill into it: the value becomes a filter and the next logical dimension replaces it — for example Offer → Affiliate → Sub 1 → Sub 2, Country → Region → City, Month → Date → Hour, Campaign ID → Ad group ID → Keyword → Ad / creative ID. The small arrow next to an offer, affiliate or advertiser opens its page.
Filters#
- Up to 20 filters, each with up to 500 values.
- Filters on click-only dimensions (for example Click mode, most Google Ads fields) leave impressions and conversions unsplit; Sub 6 … Sub 10 filter clicks and conversions but not impressions; a filter on Coupon code only filters conversions.
- Click status (redirect, fallback, blocked, error) and Conversion status (approved, pending, rejected) are filter-only.
Metric filters (rows)#
Under Rows click Metric filter, pick a metric, an operator (>, ≥, <, ≤, =) and a value. Up to 10. Percent metrics are entered in percent. Metric filters hide rows only — the totals row always covers every row, filtered or not.
Money and currencies#
Revenue, payout and sale amounts are never added across currencies. A view shows one money currency: the workspace currency unless you pick another. When offers in the period earned money in other currencies an info box says "Money is shown in USD" and offers Show EUR (etc.) buttons; Workspace currency switches back. Counts (clicks, conversions) always include every currency.
Offers priced per click (CPC payout, RPC revenue) contribute their current rate × billable unique clicks; offers priced per 1,000 impressions (CPM/RPM) contribute their rate per 1,000 non-bot impressions.
Ad cost, ROAS and net profit#
Staff can add the Ad costs metrics Ad cost, ROAS and Net profit — media spend imported under
Ad costs & ROAS. Unlike revenue and payout, ad cost is converted into the view's
currency, at the ECB rate of the cost date; costs in a currency without a rate are left out and that currency is
offered like the other currencies above. Costs split only by date, hour, week, month, offer, affiliate, advertiser,
traffic source, campaign ID and ad group ID; grouped by anything else, the cost lands on the empty (—) row. An is
filter on another dimension excludes the cost, is not keeps it, and status filters leave it alone. A new import
or deletion appears in reports within seconds. The metrics are also in the CSV export and GET /api/v1/reports
(staff keys).
Saved views#
Open the saved-reports menu:
- Save current view… — enter a Name; staff can switch on Share with the team ("Everyone in this workspace can open it."). Saved: grouping, filters, metric filters, metrics, custom metrics, basis, currency, sort and the date-range preset (or the fixed days of a custom range).
- Update "<name>" — overwrite your own saved view.
- My reports and Shared with the team — open one; delete with the trash icon.
Partners and advertisers can save personal views but not share them. Saved views can be e-mailed on a schedule: see Scheduled reports.
Export and API#
- Export CSV downloads every row (up to 200,000) of the current view in the same order. See Exports.
- API request (network only) shows the equivalent
GET /api/v1/reportscall as JSON, CSV or URL only. The REST API accepts at most 3 group-by dimensions and does not take metric filters or custom metrics, so those parts of a view are not in the generated call.
Things to know#
- Signed compliance-probe clicks (
is_test) are excluded everywhere. - Report adjustments are added as their own source and appear in every view.
- Clicks and impressions are kept for 13 months, so views cannot go further back.
- Analysts and above can use the builder (
reports.read) and save views.
