Start and end dates#

Run an offer only between two dates — for a seasonal campaign or a contract period.

  1. Open the offer, tab Advanced, section Schedule.
  2. Set Starts on and/or Last day (both optional). Dates are whole days in the workspace time zone; the offer expires at the end of the Last day. Last day must be after Starts on.
  3. Click Save settings.

Outside the window, affiliate and smart-link clicks are treated as paused: they go to the fail route for "Offer paused or outside its schedule" or the fallback chain, with reason paused. The offer's status does not change — it stays active and starts or stops tracking on its own.

Day-parting#

To accept clicks only on certain weekdays or hours, use Day-parting on the Targeting tab (weekdays, hours, optional time zone). See Targeting. For payouts that depend on the time of day, use a custom payout rule with day-parting.

Scheduled changes#

Change an offer automatically at a given moment — pause it on Friday night, raise the payout on Monday, reset caps for a promotion. Open Automation → Scheduled changes (https://app.trackcrown.com/app/automation/scheduled) and fill in the Schedule change form:

The worker applies due changes every minute. The list shows each change with Runs at, Status and Result.

Offer terms & conditions#

Offer terms are rules a partner must accept before their links reach the offer — for example "No brand bidding. No incentivized traffic." They are separate from your network terms (Partners → Partner program → Terms), which every partner accepts at sign-up.

Set up terms#

  1. Open the offer, tab Advanced, section Terms & conditions.
  2. Write the Offer terms in Markdown (up to 20,000 characters). They are shown to partners on the offer page.
  3. Turn on Require acceptance: "Links of partners who have not accepted show the not-approved fallback."
  4. Click Save settings.

The section shows the current Version and how many partners have accepted.

Ask partners to accept again#

When you change the terms materially, tick Ask every partner to accept again (new version) and save. The version number increases and earlier acceptances no longer count; partners must accept the new text.

What partners see#

On the offer page in the portal, the terms appear with Acceptance required and the button I accept these terms. After accepting, the page shows Accepted. The tracking server picks up the acceptance immediately.

What happens before acceptance#

LinkEffect while terms are not accepted
Affiliate link /r, smart link /sFallback chain (or fail route) with reason not_approved
Transparent link url=Redirects to url= as always
Server-side click /clkRefused with error_code 5 (reason not_approved)

Terms only gate clicks of a known partner. Smart-link clicks without a partner (aff= missing) are not gated.
