About TrackCrown

Tracking built on transparency

TrackCrown is a performance-marketing tracking platform built and operated by Web Cue LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. Advertisers, agencies, affiliate networks and media buyers use it to measure clicks and conversions and to pay their partners.

We record every click once, attribute it precisely, show each party exactly what it should see — and send every visitor where the link says.

One approved purchase as three parties see it: the network sees revenue, payout and margin; the partner sees only its payout; the advertiser sees only its cost.
The company that operates the platform: Legal name Web Cue LLC; Entity Delaware limited liability company; Registration Delaware State File No. 7576591; Registered office 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, DE 19958, USA.

What we build

Everyone should see the same numbers

Performance marketing runs on trust between advertisers, the networks and agencies that manage their programmes, and the partners who send traffic. Everyone needs to see the same clicks, the same conversions and the same money — and paid-search platforms need to know exactly where an ad sends people.

TrackCrown records each click and conversion once and shares it at the right level of detail: the network sees everything, partners see their own traffic and payouts, and advertisers see their own conversions and costs.

Our tracking links are built to Google's requirements for transparent click trackers, so they can be used in Google Ads tracking templates and with parallel tracking.

Our principles

Three commitments, built into the product

Each one is enforced by how the software works, not only written down in a policy.

Transparency: the destination you see is the destination you get

Paid-search platforms, advertisers and visitors all need to know where a link goes. Our links make that verifiable.

  • A link that carries a url= parameter answers with one HTTP 302 redirect to exactly that URL — for every visitor, country and device.
  • If that destination is not on the link's allowlist, the visitor gets an error page. The link never falls back to a different destination.
  • No intermediate hops. Apart from filling in placeholders the customer put in the URL and, when enabled, appending our click ID parameter, the destination is passed on unchanged.
  • Every tracking domain shows a public page naming the operator and explaining what the domain does.

Privacy: collect what attribution needs, and nothing for ourselves

We process tracking data on behalf of our customers, under a Data Processing Addendum, for attribution, fraud prevention, reporting and billing.

  • Tracking endpoints set no cookies unless a customer turns on the first-party conversion cookie.
  • Click and impression logs are deleted after 13 months by an expiry rule in the database itself.
  • We do not sell personal data and do not use customers' tracking data for our own advertising.
  • Partners see only their own traffic and payouts; advertisers see only their own conversions and costs.

Accuracy: numbers that reconcile, down to the cent

An invoice, a partner payout and a report about the same day must agree. The data model is built for that.

  • Money is stored as exact decimals, never as floating-point numbers.
  • A report's total row comes from the same query as its rows, not from adding them up afterwards.
  • Days, caps and reports follow the workspace timezone, not the server's clock.
  • Duplicate conversions (the same order ID, or a second conversion where an offer allows one per click) are rejected and never paid, and click batches carry a de-duplication token so a retry never double-counts.

Out of scope, on purpose

Features we will not build

Some requests come up in this industry. Our answer is always the same, and the product has no switch for any of them.

  • Showing reviewers, bots or certain countries a different destination than real visitors.
  • Chaining extra, unnamed redirects into a link that declares its destination.
  • Hiding the final URL from the ad platform or the visitor.
  • Selling personal data, or using customers' tracking data for our own advertising.

How we run the service

Operated by us, end to end

Web Cue LLC builds the software and runs the servers, the tracking domains and support itself.

Infrastructure

Production runs on cloud servers that Web Cue LLC administers itself in DigitalOcean's Bengaluru, India region (BLR1): the tracking edge, the panel and the PostgreSQL, ClickHouse and Redis databases. Every hostname, including each tracking domain, is served over HTTPS with automatically issued certificates.

Sub-processors

Security

Passwords are hashed with argon2id, two-factor sign-in is available to every user, session and API tokens are stored only as hashes, and every query is limited to the signed-in workspace. Sign-ins and changes are written to an audit log.

Security overview

Reliability & backups

The redirect never waits for logging: clicks are recorded asynchronously, and if the event store is unreachable they are written to a local disk spool and replayed. Databases are backed up nightly and the backups are kept for 14 days.

Support

E-mail support on every plan, with priority support on Enterprise. Write to support@trackcrown.com and include your workspace name. Set-up guides for links, postbacks, Google Ads and the API are in the documentation.

Plans & support

Abuse handling

Anyone can report a tracking link that misleads visitors or breaks our acceptable use policy. Web Cue LLC reviews each report and can suspend the workspace or tracking domain involved.

Contracts & compliance

Our terms of service include a Data Processing Addendum for the personal data we process on customers' behalf. The privacy policy covers both our customers and the people who click their links.
