An offer is a campaign you promote: where clicks go, what the advertiser pays you (revenue), what you pay partners (payout), who may run it and under which limits. Offers live under Offers → Offers (https://app.trackcrown.com/app/offers). Managers, admins and owners can create and edit offers; analysts can view them.

Create an offer#

  1. Click New offer. Optionally pick an Offer template at the top (or "Blank offer") to prefill the form; see Bulk edit & templates.
  2. Complete the four steps and click Create offer. You land on the new offer's page.

Step 1 — General#

FieldRequiredNotes
Offer nameYesUp to 200 characters, e.g. "Acme Insurance — US — Lead".
AdvertiserNoDecides which postback token can report conversions and who is invoiced. Empty = workspace token. Choosing an advertiser with a link template prefills the destination URL.
CategoryNoFree text with suggestions (Finance, Insurance, Nutra…).
DescriptionNoMarkdown, shown to partners in the marketplace.
RestrictionsNoMarkdown: allowed and forbidden traffic.
Preview URLNoThe landing page partners may look at (never tracked).
Thumbnail URLNoSquare image for lists and the marketplace.
TagsNoPress Enter or comma to add. Used for filters and smart-link membership.
Featured offerNoHighlighted at the top of the partner marketplace.

Step 2 — Tracking#

FieldDefaultNotes
Destination URL—Required. Where affiliate links (/r) redirect. Absolute http(s):// URL with macros; Insert macro opens a picker and a live preview shows sample values. Unknown macros are flagged ("will be sent literally").
Fallback URLEmptyUsed when the offer is paused, capped, the affiliate is not approved or targeting fails. Empty = workspace fallback.
Allowed transparent destinationsEmptyExtra hostnames a Google Ads url= may point to, one per line, *.example.com for subdomains. The destination URL's host and the workspace allowlist are always allowed.
Conversion trackingServer postback or pixelServer postback only accepts only token-authenticated S2S calls; Pixel only accepts only browser pixels.
Attribution window (days)301–365. Later conversions are rejected (outside_window).
Default conversion statusApprovedPending (manual review) holds conversions until you approve them; postbacks fire on approval.
One conversion per clickOnRepeat postbacks for the same click and event are stored as duplicates. Events can opt out.

Step 3 — Revenue & payout#

Currency (default: workspace currency), Revenue type and Revenue, Payout type and Payout. An Example conversion box shows revenue, payout and profit. All types are explained in Revenue & payout types.

Step 4 — Visibility#

VisibilityWho can run it
PublicEvery active partner, without asking.
Requires approval (default)Partners see it in the marketplace and request access.
PrivateHidden from the marketplace; only partners you approve see it.

Start as: Active — tracking immediately, Paused — set up first or Pending — waiting for the advertiser.

Each offer gets a random public code (shown in the header next to its numeric ID) used in links such as /r/OFFERCODE/PARTNERCODE. A default event named "Conversion" is created automatically.

Give partners access (Affiliates tab)#

  1. Click Add affiliates, choose one or more Affiliates, set Access to Approved, Pending (decide later) or Blocked, optionally write a Note to the affiliate, and save.
  2. Requests from the marketplace appear with status pending ("N access requests waiting"). Use the row menu: Approve, Reject, Block, Mark pending or Remove access row. The partner is notified of approvals and rejections.
  3. Caps in the row menu sets per-affiliate caps on this offer.

Partner-side details: Offer access. On a Public offer every active partner can run it without a row; add a row only to block a partner or give them their own caps. A blocked or rejected row refuses the partner even on a public offer.

Duplicate an offer#

Duplicate in the offer header creates a paused copy named "<name> (copy)" with a new code. Use it for GEO or payout variants.

Define business units and custom fields (Text, Date or Choice; required or optional; optionally visible to partners) under Offer fields (https://app.trackcrown.com/app/offers/fields).
