This Cookie Policy explains how Web Cue LLC (“TrackCrown”) uses cookies and similar technologies, such as browser local storage, on the TrackCrown website, in the TrackCrown web application and portals, and on the tracking domains we operate. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.
1. Cookies and local storage#
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser and that the browser sends back to that website. Local storage is a similar store that only scripts on the same website can read. A "first-party" cookie belongs to the website you are visiting; we set no third-party cookies.
2. Tracking domains#
2.1 No cookies by default#
Click links, impression pixels and conversion endpoints on our tracking domains work without cookies. Each click is recorded from the request itself, and the click ID travels to the destination in the URL. Transparent links used in Google Ads tracking templates never set a cookie.
2.2 Optional click-ID cookie#
A customer may turn on a first-party click-ID cookie for its workspace. Only then do partner (affiliate) links and smart links on that customer's tracking domains set:
The cookie contains only the random 32-character click ID.
2.3 Landing-page script on customers' websites#
Customers may add our landing-page script to their own websites. The script runs on the customer's website and keeps the click ID so that a later conversion on that site can be attributed:
The customer that installs the script decides whether to use it and is responsible for describing it in its own cookie notice and for obtaining consent where the law requires it.
3. Our website#
The TrackCrown website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It loads no analytics, advertising, social-media or other third-party tracking scripts, and our fonts and images are served from our own servers.
4. Web application and portals#
When you sign in to the TrackCrown web application, partner portal or advertiser portal we use:
5. Consent#
The sign-in cookie is strictly necessary to provide the service you request, and the preference entries are stored only when you change a setting, so they do not require consent under the EU ePrivacy rules. Because we set no other cookies, we do not show a cookie banner. Customers that turn on the click-ID cookie or install the landing-page script are responsible for any consent their websites need.
6. Managing cookies#
You can view, block and delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking atk_session prevents you from signing in. Blocking the click-ID cookie or the landing-page script's storage does not stop tracking links from working; it only means some conversions cannot be attributed. Our Privacy Policy explains how we treat Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.
7. Changes#
If we add or change a cookie or storage entry, we update this policy and its "Last updated" date before the change goes live.
