For affiliate networks

Run your network from one ledger

TrackCrown keeps advertisers, partners and offers in one workspace and records every click and conversion once — so the revenue you invoice, the payouts you send and the margin you keep all come from the same rows.

Partners and advertisers each get a portal of their own, limited to their own numbers.

The challenge

What breaks when a network outgrows spreadsheets

Most networks start with a click tracker and a spreadsheet for everything else. These are the problems that follow — and what TrackCrown does about each one.

Margin you only see at month end

Revenue sits in one system and partner payouts in another, so the margin on an offer shows up after the budget is already spent.

With TrackCrown: every conversion stores its revenue and its payout side by side, so reports show profit and margin by offer, advertiser, partner or sub ID as conversions arrive.

Partners waiting on your team

Tracking links, postback changes and “how did I do yesterday?” all arrive as messages to account managers.

With TrackCrown: partners generate their own links, read their own reports and manage their own postbacks — with a test button — in the partner portal.

Three versions of the same numbers

When the advertiser, the partner and the network each count conversions differently, every invoice turns into a negotiation.

With TrackCrown: one report engine serves all three portals. Each party sees the same conversions, limited to the money it is entitled to see.

Payout runs that take days

Collecting approved conversions, applying special payouts and catching late approvals by hand is slow and easy to get wrong.

With TrackCrown: payout statements are generated from approved conversions; late approvals land on the next statement and balances below a partner's minimum carry over.

Day to day

How a network runs on TrackCrown

Four routines most networks repeat every week: launch offers, onboard partners, watch quality and margin, and close the month.

Launch offers

Sign an advertiser, launch the offer

Model the deal exactly as it was agreed, then hand the advertiser one integration.

  1. Add the advertiser

Company, currency, billing terms, account manager and a postback token of its own.

  2. Create the offer

Destination URL with macros, revenue and payout per event, an attribution window of 1 to 365 days, caps, country, device and OS targeting, and a fallback URL.

  3. Decide who can run it

Public, approval-only or private — with partner-specific payouts wherever a deal differs from the default.

  4. Send the integration

The advertiser gets a server-to-server postback URL or a pixel; test conversions are validated without being stored.

Tracking & attribution
Example offer with four conversion events, each with its own revenue and partner payout: a renewal event that may convert more than once per click, and a private event that partners do not see.

Onboard partners

Recruit partners through your own sign-up page

Applications, approvals and offer access in one queue — and partners who can connect without a ticket.

  1. Share your sign-up page

Partners apply on your workspace's join page with their company, traffic sources and contact details.

  2. Review the application

Approve or reject it under Partners › Applications; approved partners can sign in to the partner portal straight away.

  3. Grant offer access

Partners request approval-only offers from the offer marketplace; you approve per offer, optionally with partner-level caps.

  4. Let partners connect

They generate links with sub IDs and add their own postbacks, which they can test before sending live traffic.

Partner management

Quality & margin

Watch traffic quality and margin every day

Spot a partner that sends bot traffic or an offer that has stopped paying for itself — before it reaches an invoice.

  1. Start on the dashboard

Clicks, conversions, revenue, payout and profit for the selected range, in your workspace timezone.

  2. Break it down

Group reports by up to three dimensions — offer, partner, sub ID, country, device and more — and save the views you use.

  3. Check click quality

Bot user agents and data-centre networks are flagged on each click; duplicate and out-of-window conversions are rejected with a reason.

  4. Act on it

Pause an offer, lower a partner's cap, change a payout or block a partner — links keep working and fall back as configured.

Fraud signals
Share of bot, data-centre and repeat clicks per partner; one partner stands out with high values.

Close the month

Invoice advertisers and pay partners from the same rows

Billing reads the approved conversions your reports show, so statements reconcile without a spreadsheet.

  1. Generate advertiser invoices

For any period, built from approved revenue, with manual adjustments and a due date from the advertiser's billing terms.

  2. Generate partner payouts

One statement per partner and currency. Conversions approved after a period was settled appear on the next statement as late approvals.

  3. Respect minimum payouts

Balances below a partner's minimum payout roll into the next statement instead of being paid.

  4. Record the payment

Move statements from pending to approved to paid with a payment reference; partners see them in their portal.

Partner payout statements for September: one paid, one approved, one pending, and one small balance carried to the next period because it is below the partner's minimum payout.

Setup checklist

From empty workspace to first payout

The order most networks follow. Each step names where it happens in the panel and links to the guide that covers it.

  1. Step 1: Create the workspace

    Sign-up · Settings › Workspace

Set the workspace timezone and default currency first: report days and cap periods follow that timezone.

    Getting started
  2. Step 2: Add a tracking domain

    Tracking › Tracking domains

Point a subdomain you control at the platform (Growth plan and up). It becomes active once DNS and the ownership TXT record check out, and HTTPS is issued automatically.

    Domain setup
  3. Step 3: Add your advertisers

    Offers › Advertisers

Company details, currency, billing terms and account manager. Each advertiser gets its own postback token.

  4. Step 4: Create offers and events

    Offers › Offers

Destination URL with macros, revenue and payout per event, attribution window, caps, targeting, fallback URL and visibility.

    Tracking links & macros
  5. Step 5: Connect advertiser conversions

    Offer › Tracking & links

Send each advertiser its postback URL or pixel. Add test=1 to validate a postback without storing it.

    Postbacks guide
  6. Step 6: Open partner sign-ups

    Partners › Affiliates · Applications

Share your workspace's sign-up page, then approve applications and offer-access requests as they come in.

    Partner management
  7. Step 7: Set up partner postbacks

    Affiliate › Postbacks

Workspace-wide or per partner, per offer and event, fired on approval or on any status. Partners can add their own.

    Postback macros
  8. Step 8: Run the first billing cycle

    Billing › Invoices · Billing › Payouts

Generate advertiser invoices and partner payout statements for the period, add adjustments and record payments.

FAQ

Questions from networks

Have a setup we haven't covered here? Ask us — we'll tell you plainly whether it fits.

Can we move from another tracker without breaking everything at once?
Partner links move to your tracking domain in the /r/{offer}/{partner} format, so partners need new links — the portal's link generator creates them in one step. Click parameters named aff_sub…aff_sub5 and s1…s5 map to sub IDs, and postbacks may send the click ID as transaction_id, so advertisers usually only need the new postback URL and token.
What do partners and advertisers see when they sign in?
Partners see their own clicks, conversions, payouts and links — payout only, never your revenue or margin. Advertisers see their own offers, conversions, reports and invoices, with your revenue shown as their cost; they never see payouts, profit or partner details beyond a partner ID.
Can one partner earn a different payout from the default?
Yes. Payout overrides apply per partner and offer, optionally for one event only, and take precedence over the event and offer defaults. Revenue can be overridden the same way.
What happens when an offer reaches its cap?
Partner links send further clicks to the offer's fallback URL (or the workspace default) until the next period starts in your timezone, and conversions above a conversion or payout cap are recorded as rejected with the reason cap_exceeded. Links that carry url= — used for Google Ads — are never redirected elsewhere; there the cap is recorded for reporting only.
Do you support several currencies?
Each offer has its own currency. Reports keep currencies apart instead of converting them, and invoices and payout statements are generated per currency.
Which plan does a network need?
Offers, advertisers, partners, partner links, postbacks, real-time reports and the partner portal are on every plan. Invoices and partner payouts, the advertiser portal, smart links, custom tracking domains and the REST API start with Growth. See the plan comparison.
Is there an API?
Yes — a REST API for offers, partners, advertisers, reports, clicks and conversions, with admin, analyst, partner and advertiser keys that see exactly what the matching portal sees. See the API reference.
