Partners (affiliates, publishers) join your workspace through a public application form. Every application lands in Partners → Applications as a pending partner unless you switch on automatic approval. This article covers the form, its options and the review queue.
The sign-up link#
Your workspace's form lives at:
https://app.trackcrown.com/join/<workspace-slug>Find the exact link in either place:
- Partners → Applications → tab Partner sign-ups → field Partner sign-up link.
- Partners → Partner program → tab Sign-up form → card Sign-up links → Partner sign-up page.
The form is only served while the workspace is active and accepts partner applications (see Close applications). On a brand's own panel hostname, only workspaces of that brand can be joined; any other slug returns a 404 page.
Manager links#
Under Sign-up links every owner, admin and manager of the workspace has a personal link of the form
/join/<workspace-slug>?. A partner who applies through it is assigned to that staff member as
account manager. Unknown or invalid mgr values are ignored when the form is submitted.
Referral links#
When the referral program is active, partners share /join/<workspace-slug>?. The form then shows
"You were invited by …" and the new partner is credited to the referrer. See
Referral program.
What the applicant fills in#
The standard fields are fixed:
Your custom questions follow, then a mandatory terms checkbox. The checkbox links to your network terms when you have published some (see Documents, e-signature and terms), otherwise to the brand's Terms of Service.
Configure the form#
Open Partners → Partner program → Sign-up form. Only workspace admins and owners can change it.
Custom questions#
In Custom questions, click to add a question and set:
- Label — the question text, e.g. "What is your monthly traffic volume?".
- Answer type — Short answer, Long answer, Drop-down or Checkbox (yes / no).
- For a drop-down, the options, one per line (at least one, at most 30).
- Required — whether the applicant must answer.
Use the arrows to reorder and the trash icon to remove. You can have up to 20 questions. Answers (up to 2,000 characters each) are shown in the applications queue and on the partner's page. Removing a question later keeps the answers already given.
Close applications#
The Partner applications section has the switch Accept partner applications (on by default). Switch it off and save to stop new sign-ups without touching existing partners — they keep signing in and running their offers. While it is off:
/join/<workspace-slug>and the advertiser partner pages show "<workspace> is not accepting partner applications" with a Sign in button, and refuse every application;- Partners → Applications shows the warning "Partner applications are closed";
- advertiser applications keep their own switch (Advertiser applications, below).
Review & activation#
Click Save sign-up form. Changes are written to the audit log.
Limits#
- 10 partner applications per hour from the same network (IP address).
- The e-mail verification link can be re-sent from the pending screen at most 3 times per hour.
What happens after submitting#
- A partner record is created with status pending and a random partner code; a portal user is created (or the existing account is linked).
- The acceptance of the terms is logged (time, version, hashed IP, browser).
- Staff receive the notification "New partner application: …".
- The applicant is signed in and sees the pending screen — or the partner portal right away when auto-approval applied without verification.
Review applications#
Open Partners → Applications → Partner sign-ups. Columns: Partner, Contact, Country, Website, Traffic sources, Answers, Applied, plus hidden E-mail (Verified / Not verified), Messenger and Logins.
- Select one or more rows, or open the row menu.
- Click Approve, or Reject… and enter an optional reason.
- The partner gets an in-app notification and, when SMTP is configured, an e-mail. A rejection reason is included in both.
Analysts can see the queue; only managers, admins and owners can decide. A rejected partner can still be approved later from their partner page.
