For media buyers

Paid traffic, measured transparently

Track Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta and TikTok clicks on your own tracking domain, with each platform's click ID and your campaign parameters captured on every click.

Google and Microsoft templates redirect once, to exactly the landing page the ad declares. Conversions go back to Google Ads, to Meta, TikTok and Microsoft through their conversion APIs, and to other sources as postbacks — and imported ad spend turns revenue into ROAS.

The challenge

Measure every click without breaking the rules

Paid traffic leaves no room for slow redirects, hidden hops or late data. What usually goes wrong — and what TrackCrown does instead.

Trackers that break ad-platform rules

Redirect chains, destinations stored on a server or parameters added after the click can get tracking templates disapproved.

With TrackCrown: a link that carries url= answers with one 302 to exactly that URL. Only its own click-ID parameter may be added, and every visitor gets the same destination.

Landing pages waiting on a redirect

Every hop before the landing page costs load time — and paid traffic is the most expensive traffic to lose.

With TrackCrown: with Google's parallel tracking the visitor goes straight to the landing page while the browser calls the template in the background; elsewhere it is a single hop with asynchronous logging.

Results a day late

Ad platforms report with a delay and cannot see what happened after the click, on your site or in a buyer's CRM.

With TrackCrown: clicks show up in the live view within seconds, with campaign, ad group, keyword and placement as report dimensions next to conversions and revenue.

Bidding without conversion data

Smart bidding needs conversions, but the ones that matter happen downstream — after a review, a call or a purchase.

With TrackCrown: Google Ads API uploads or offline conversion feeds, Meta, TikTok and Microsoft conversion APIs, and server-to-server postbacks to any other source that accepts them.

Day to day

From ad click to bid decision

Set up each platform once, read results as they come in, and feed conversions back to the platforms that bid on them.

Google Ads & Microsoft Advertising

One transparent template per account

Google replaces {lpurl} with the ad's final URL; the tracker records the click and redirects there — once, and nowhere else.

  1. Build the template

Choose the ValueTrack parameters you want in reports; the builder puts force_transparent=true right before url={lpurl}, which is always last.

  2. Test it

The transparency tester requests the link without following it and checks HTTPS, a single hop, the exact Location and response time.

  3. Paste and forget

Account, campaign or ad-group level. Caps, targeting and paused offers never change where these links go — they are recorded only.

  4. Join on the landing page

With parallel tracking, the landing-page script recovers the click by gclid so on-site conversions attribute correctly.

Meta, TikTok & other sources

Platform macros in, sub IDs out

Use a tracking link as the ad's website URL and pass the platform's campaign, ad set and ad IDs through its own URL macros.

  1. One partner per source or buyer

Set each traffic source — or each buyer on your team — up as a partner, so it gets its own links, reports and postbacks.

  2. Map the macros

Campaign, ad set and ad IDs into sub IDs or campaign parameters; fbclid and ttclid are captured automatically.

  3. Label the source

The traffic source is set from the click ID — Google, Microsoft, Meta or TikTok — or from a ts parameter you add.

  4. Route when it helps

Smart links send each visitor to an approved offer by country, device and OS — on links without url= only.

Real-time data

See what a campaign earns today

Clicks and conversions appear in the live view within seconds, and every report can break down by source, campaign and keyword.

  1. Watch the live view

Clicks and conversions stream in, refreshed every two seconds, with bot and blocked clicks marked.

  2. Read the click log

Every click with its source, campaign ID, keyword, country, device and click IDs — kept for 13 months.

  3. Compare EPC with CPC

Group by traffic source, campaign and keyword to see revenue per click next to what the platform charges you.

Reporting

Conversions back to the platforms

Feed the bidding with real outcomes

Report the conversions that matter to the platforms that optimise on them — on your schedule, with your values.

  1. Google Ads offline feed

Map offer events to conversion actions; Google fetches the HTTPS feed on a schedule and matches by gclid, gbraid or wbraid.

  2. Choose the value

Revenue, payout, sale amount or none; a lookback of up to 90 days; pending conversions included only if you choose.

  3. Postbacks to other sources

Return the source's own click ID from a sub ID with {sub1}, plus {payout} or {event}, on approval or on any status.

Server-to-server postback to a traffic source: the source's click ID comes back from sub1 together with payout and event, it fires on approved conversions of one offer, and the last request returned 200.

Setup checklist

Ready for your first campaign

Where each step happens, and the guide that explains it.

  1. Step 1: Add your tracking domain

    Tracking › Tracking domains

A subdomain you control (Growth plan and up), with HTTPS issued automatically. Ads show this hostname, so use your own.

    Domain setup
  2. Step 2: Allowlist your landing pages

    Settings › Workspace · Offer › Tracking & links

Hostnames a url= link may redirect to — for the whole workspace or per offer. Anything else gets a 403 page, never a different redirect.

  3. Step 3: Create the offer

    Offers › Offers

Destination, events with revenue, and the attribution window that matches your buying cycle.

  4. Step 4: Build and test the template

    Tracking › Google Ads

Pick ValueTrack parameters, then run the transparency tester: HTTPS, one hop, the exact Location, no cookie required, and the response time.

  5. Step 5: Paste it into the ad account

    Google Ads · Microsoft Advertising

At account, campaign or ad-group level. Parallel tracking needs nothing extra — the template is called in the background.

  6. Step 6: Add the landing-page script

    Your landing page

Served from your tracking domain; it keeps the click ID on the page and recovers parallel-tracking clicks by gclid.

  7. Step 7: Connect conversions

    Offer › Tracking & links

A server-to-server postback from your backend or the buyer's CRM, or a pixel on the thank-you page.

    Postbacks guide
  8. Step 8: Send conversions back

Integrations › Conversion APIs · Google Ads API

Google Ads uploads or an offline conversion feed, Meta, TikTok and Microsoft conversion APIs, and postbacks for any source that takes a postback URL.

FAQ

Questions from media buyers

Running a template chain with another tracker, or an unusual landing-page setup? Ask before you launch.

Is the tracking domain certified by Google?
Google certifies tracking domains one by one, and we only call a domain certified once Google has done so. Current status: trackcrown.com is not yet submitted for certification; trk.168-144-125-119.sslip.io is not yet submitted for certification. The Google Ads page shows the same records as the panel.
Will tracking slow down my landing pages?
With parallel tracking — Google's default — the visitor goes straight to your final URL and the template is requested in the background. Without it, the tracker answers with one 302; the click is written to storage asynchronously, so logging never delays the redirect.
What happens if a url= points at a page I haven't allowed?
The link answers with a 403 page saying the destination is not allowed for this tracking link, and the click is logged as blocked. It never redirects anywhere else. Add the hostname to the workspace's allowed destinations or to the offer's allowed domains.
Can I send conversions to Meta or TikTok?
Yes. Under Integrations › Conversion APIs, add a Meta Conversions API, TikTok Events API or Microsoft Advertising (UET) destination with your dataset, pixel or tag ID and access token. Conversions are then sent server to server with the platform's click ID captured on the click (fbclid, ttclid or msclkid), and every request and response is kept in the postback log. The click IDs are also available as postback macros such as {fbclid} for any other endpoint.
Which plan do media buyers need?
Growth or Enterprise: transparent Google Ads templates, parallel tracking with the landing-page SDK, offline conversion feeds, custom tracking domains, smart links and the API start there. See the plan comparison.
Do you import ad spend or calculate ROAS?
Yes. Connect Google Ads, Meta, TikTok or Microsoft Advertising accounts — or upload a CSV for any other source — under Integrations › Ad costs & ROAS. Spend is imported per campaign and day, and the tab shows media cost, revenue, payout, net profit and ROAS per campaign. These cost metrics live on that tab; the report builder itself shows clicks, conversions, revenue, payout and EPC.
Which ValueTrack parameters are mapped?
gclid, campaignid, adgroupid, creative, keyword, matchtype, network, device, placement, loc_physical_ms, targetid, feeditemid, extensionid, assetgroupid, loc_interest_ms, devicemodel, target, adtype, merchant_id, product_id. Campaign, ad group, ad, keyword and placement are report dimensions you can group and filter by; match type, network, device, location and target are stored on each click, and any other parameter you pass is kept with it.
