For advertisers & brands

Own your partner programme and its data

Run affiliates, publishers and creators directly — on your own tracking domain, on your own terms — or connect to a network that uses TrackCrown and watch your conversions arrive.

Conversions come in by postback, pixel or landing-page script, de-duplicated by order ID and ready for review.

The challenge

Paying partners only for real sales

A partner programme is only as good as the data it pays on. Four problems we see in almost every programme — and how TrackCrown handles them.

Paying twice for one order

Two partners claim the same sale, a thank-you page is reloaded, or a test order slips through — and each one becomes a payout.

With TrackCrown: one conversion per click and event, and one per order ID. Repeats are stored as rejected duplicates and never paid or posted back to partners.

Tracking that depends on cookies

Browsers limit third-party cookies, so pixel-only tracking quietly loses conversions.

With TrackCrown: postbacks travel server to server with the click ID, the landing-page script keeps that ID on your own site, and the tracking redirect itself needs no cookie.

Partners you can't see into

You get a total per partner, but not which placement, creative or newsletter actually produced the sales.

With TrackCrown: ten sub IDs and a source ID on every click become report dimensions, and every conversion carries them.

Paying for sales that don't hold

Returns, cancellations and fraudulent orders show up after the commission was already earned.

With TrackCrown: conversions can arrive as pending and be approved or rejected — one by one, in bulk or from a CSV — before they count toward a payout.

Two ways to use it

Run it yourself, or through a network

The same tracking and conversion engine serves both. The difference is who manages the partners.

Your own partner programme

Your company is the workspace. You recruit and pay partners directly and keep every relationship and every row of data.

  • Offers, events, payouts and caps you define.
  • A sign-up page for partners, with approval.
  • The partner portal: links, reports and self-serve postbacks.
  • Payout statements from approved conversions.

Through a network on the platform

The network manages partners and payouts; you sign in to the advertiser portal for your side of the numbers.

  • Your offers, conversions and reports — revenue shown as your cost.
  • Your postback URL and pixel snippets, with your own token.
  • Your invoices from the network.
  • Rejecting your own conversions, if the network enables it.

Day to day

From first conversion to partner payout

Connect conversions once, decide what you pay for, grow the partner base, and review before anything is paid.

Connect conversions

Send conversions the way your stack allows

Every method ends in the same conversion engine: click lookup, attribution window, event, money, de-duplication, caps — then partner postbacks.

  1. Pick a method

A postback (/pb) from your server, an image or JavaScript pixel (/px) on the thank-you page, or the landing-page script that keeps the click ID on your site.

  2. Pass the order details

event for the conversion type, amount for the sale value and txid for your order ID, which blocks duplicates.

  3. Test before going live

With test=1 the postback returns the click, event, revenue and status it would record — without storing a conversion.

Define what you pay for

Pay on the events that matter to you

Each event carries its own revenue, payout and visibility, so a trial and a first purchase can be worth different amounts.

  1. Add events to the offer

Trial start, purchase, renewal, qualified lead — each with a fixed amount or a percentage of the sale.

  2. Keep internal events private

Private events are hidden from partners and never fire their postbacks.

  3. Set windows and caps

Attribution from 1 to 365 days, and daily, weekly, monthly or lifetime caps on conversions and payout.

Grow your partners

Give partners a portal, not a spreadsheet

Partners apply, get approved, pick up their links and connect their own trackers — while you see who drives what.

  1. Approve partners

Applications arrive from your sign-up page; offers can be public, approval-only or private.

  2. Let them self-serve

Partners generate links with sub IDs, see their own conversions and payouts, and set up their own postbacks.

  3. Reward the best

Give a partner a higher payout on one offer or one event without changing anyone else's.

Review & settle

Review conversions before anyone is paid

Approve, hold or reject — and when you buy through a network, check its numbers and invoices in your own portal.

  1. Work the pending queue

Filter conversions by status, approve or reject one by one or in bulk, with a reason partners can see.

  2. Import corrections

Upload a CSV of order IDs with new statuses or amounts; every row is previewed before it is applied.

  3. Settle the period

In your own programme, payout statements are built from approved conversions. Through a network, its invoices appear in your portal.

Setup checklist

Launch your programme in eight steps

Where each step happens in the panel, and the guide that explains it.

  1. Step 1: Create your workspace

    Sign-up — or accept your network's invitation

Running your own programme? Sign up and set your timezone and currency. Working with a network on the platform? It invites you to the advertiser portal.

    Getting started
  2. Step 2: Use your own tracking domain

    Network › Domains

A subdomain such as track.yourbrand.com keeps links and the click-ID script on your own name (Growth plan and up). HTTPS is issued automatically once DNS checks out.

  3. Step 3: Create the offer and its events

    Network › Offers

One offer per programme or product line; events for trials, first purchases or renewals, each with its own revenue and payout.

    Offers & links
  4. Step 4: Install conversion tracking

    Offer › Tracking & links · Advertiser › Integration

A server-to-server postback, an image or JavaScript pixel, or the landing-page script. Send test=1 first: the response shows the result without storing anything.

    Postbacks & pixels
  5. Step 5: Decide how conversions are approved

    Offer › Tracking & links

Leave the default status on approved, or set it to pending so every conversion waits for review before partners are paid or notified.

  6. Step 6: Open partner sign-ups

    Network › Partners

Share your sign-up page, set each offer's visibility and approve partners and access requests.

    Partner management
  7. Step 7: Set payment terms

    Partner › Payouts

Payment method, terms and a minimum payout per partner; balances below the minimum carry into the next statement.

  8. Step 8: Review, then settle

    Reports › Conversions · Billing › Payouts

Approve or reject pending conversions, then generate payout statements for the period from approved conversions only.

FAQ

Questions from brands

Moving an existing programme, or connecting a store we haven't listed? We'll help you plan it.

Do I need a developer to install tracking?
Not for a pixel: paste an image or script tag on the order confirmation page — the integrations page covers Shopify custom pixels and WooCommerce. A server-to-server postback needs one HTTP request from your backend; it is the more reliable option because it does not depend on the browser.
Postback or pixel — which should I use?
Postbacks whenever you can: they carry the click ID from your server and are unaffected by ad blockers or browser settings. Pixels read the click ID from the URL or, only if you enable it, from a first-party cookie on the tracking domain.
Can partners see my revenue or my private events?
No. Partners see only their own payouts. Events marked private are hidden from them and never fire their postbacks — useful for downstream signals such as renewals or refunds.
Can a conversion be rejected after it was approved?
Yes — from the conversion log, in bulk, through the API or by importing a CSV. Every status change is written to the audit log with the user who made it.
I'm an advertiser of a network that uses the platform. What can I see?
Your own offers, conversions and reports — where the network's revenue appears as your cost — your invoices, and an integration page with your postback URL and pixel snippets. You never see partner payouts, the network's margin or partner details beyond a partner ID. If the network allows it, you can also reject your own conversions with a reason.
Which plan do I need?
Running your own programme with postbacks, pixels, partner links, partner postbacks and the partner portal works on every plan. Your own tracking domain, partner payouts, the advertiser portal and the API start with Growth. See the plan comparison.
How long is click data kept?
Raw click logs are kept for 13 months and then deleted automatically. The privacy policy describes what is collected and why.
